OPENING HOURS (except for the last Wednesday of the month and holidays)

PASSPORT SECTION:                MONDAY - FRIDAY                   08.00 - 12.00

VISA SECTION:                        MONDAY - FRIDAY                   08.00 - 10.00 (submission hours for new visa applications, additional documents before 08.00) 

LEGALISATIONS:                      MONDAY-FRIDAY                     09.00-11.00 (persons need to report to the Embassy before 09.00 in order to receive a number)

TELEPHONE INQUIRIES:            MONDAY - FRIDAY                   13.00 - 15.00

Visa Applications (including MVV's) are accepted by appointment only!

Government officials, Diplomatic and Service Passport holders with a cover note from the Protocol Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and those who wish to report back to the Embassy upon return to Ghana do not require an appointment and may come to the Consular Section on working days between 08.00-10.00.

On the following days the consular section is closed to the public: 
Every last Wednesday of the month, 05-03-2010, 19-03-2010,  02-04-2010, 05-04-2010, 30-04-2010, 05-05-2010, 13-05-2010, 14-05-2010,
25-05-2010, 01-07-2010, Eid-ul-Fitr (date unknown at time of publication), 21-09-2010, Eid-ul-Adha (date unknown at time of publication),
03-12-2010, 25-12-2010, 26-12-2010, 27-12-2010.

Language

Please note that the official languages of this Embassy are Dutch and English. It is therefore not possible to address the counter staff in any other (local) language. It is the responsibility of the applicant and/or submitter to provide for translation, if necessary. It is regretted that rejections in writing of visa applications can only be given in the Dutch language, because of legal implications.
